It includes a wide range of plant-based ingredients that are used in Mexican cooking on a daily basis and also those more regional or localised that appear at certain times of the year. The design includes a Spanish and English name for each ingredient.

It gives a really good snapshot of this incredibly diverse country and culture. As with almost all cuisines globally, traditions change and new ingredients are incorporated with time and through generations, immigration and better technology.
